The claim that infectious diseases are transmitted between people is totally dependent on the claim that they are caused by pathogenic microorganisms. It is these ‘microorganisms’ that are claimed to be the ‘infectious agents’ that are spread, both directly and indirectly, between people, who become ‘infected’ with the ‘pathogen’ and develop the disease they are alleged to cause.
