We tried it out with a cell phone, and it worked great, but the bag must be completely closed and sealed.  The phone shown in the photo measures 6" tall x 3" wide, and it fits with ease.  This is a great bag for smaller items, like car key fobs, smaller phones, credit cards, etc.

There are two compartments in the bag.  One is a Faraday, and the other is storage for stuff that you need to carry but don't need to protect, such as paper money. 

The bag features a ring so it can be clipped onto another bag for travel purposes, or you can clip a key onto it.
