Nice, small bee house. Made from natural wood with a jute cord. Place in your yard in an area with plants or water and you should begin seeing bees the same year. Amazing Mason bees hatch early and immediately go to work breeding. They are incredible to watch. Masons are harmless bees. They do not damage your property (Carpenter bees are the ones that bore into wood). Masons are wonderful pollinators. They are not aggressive and they don't mind you watching them. If your house is populated and you need to move it, wait until dark when they fall asleep.

If you live in a cold area, bring the house into a shed or garage for the winter. Do NOT bring into your home! A friend of ours did this and the bees hatched in her home due to the warmth. If you don't have a cool place to put the house for the winter, place it in an area where it won't be blasted with wind or snow. You can even turn it around so it faces against a tree or wall, just make sure the bees have room to exit the house.
